Mass Effect is easily one of my favorite game franchises, and it is because I love space, a good story, and excellent characters. All three of the original trilogy of games had this, and they have been replayed by me multiple times. The newest addition to the franchise by Bioware is Mass Effect: Andromeda, not a whole lot is known the newest game that is slated for first quarter release in 2017, it has been reported that it will have two heroes though. According to reports on Polygon.com, the two heroes are brother and sister, and are both active in the universe. Creative director Mac Walters, the hero is not just a male or female version like Commander Shepard in the original trilogy.”What a lot of people don’t know, little surprise here, is that these two are brother and sister,” Walters said. “And they both exist in the game world at the same time. So if you’re playing as the sister Ryder, female Ryder, your brother is somewhere in the universe.” This is an interesting and new approach for this game franchise to take. There was also a new 4k tech video debuted by Bioware at recent Sony event in support of its new 4k capable Playstation. If you haven’t had a chance to watch the game play footage don’t worry it can be watched down below. Let us know if you are excited for Mass Effect: Andromeda!
